New pads into the Daytona this afternoon. I have gone SBS RS this time. Previous was Brembo SC. The SBS have 2mm groove depth from new. Brembo about 1mm (I think). The Brembo’s have done three full days over Silverstone and Donington. I am hard on brakes - would you change out at this wear level (I could possibly get another day out of them but don’t want to be worrying about it)?
Invariably I’ll wait until I hear a grinding noise then I know it’s new pad time. So based on your picture you have only 1 more track day left.
Arranged to take two of my old Arai helmets in to the local firestation so that they can use them for training purposes. That leaves me two old helmets (an Arai and an AGV) in stock in case I ever need them And two new helmets which will be in use
Put oil and coolant back in the R and assembled everything. Ran it up to 110degC as it says in the book. Neighbours can’t get enough of that 70mm Termi system!
Honda CBR600RR trackbike - Oil and filter change, clean and lube chain and clean bike ready for next round of trackdays. Nothing ever goes to plan and had a leak from the filter, so a quick nip up and she's sorted. Learnt to lockwire too which was great fun!! Pitbike - oil change, adjust chain which was a fucking nightmare, clean and lube chain and clean bike ready for next outing at Whilton Mill. RSV4 - Adjust, clean and lube chain and clean bike. Polish it tonight!!
Painted the headlight surround on my KaTooooM today, it’s transformation is on going. Tried Orange mirrors on Sunday it looked so good I painted them back to Black.

Found out the carburettors will be around 8 weeks before they are returned in fine ethanol proof fettle. Bugger!
