Bought some new leather jeans which should be delivered tomorrow, and renewed my DOCGB annual subscription Tomorrow I may order a new front tyre for the Scrambler
I was hoping someone on here would tell me why so much unburnt fuel was left in the exhaust for it to ignite like that.
Bought some copperslip as when I was fitting new pads, i discovered I couldnt find mine. Then as soon as ordered and paid for, found the fucking pile of shit tube hiding undersomething too small for it to reasonably hide under. FFS.

I too have stripped down a carb today to find that one of the floats was half full. So a new float, needle valve and seat (just in case) and air mixture screw (chewed up by a previous owner) have been ordered...bit of a shock when I got the bill though but that's the joys of old, rare motorcycles...
Just about to grease me balls and then I’m going to offer up the slipper and make sure it fits okay. Bike to be called Cinderella from now on.
Been searching for a new front tyre for the Scrambler half the day. So far the best I’ve got is supplied/fitted 3rd September. I’ll be searching a bit more tomorrow
Spent the past 2 hours ringing round Pirelli stockists in West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Lancashire. Finally found what seems to be the only available front tyre in Sheffield (or it will be tomorrow when it’s delivered there from another branch in their group). Hopefully will get it fitted tomorrow afternoon.
