(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

Ordered new front-wheel bearings and seals for Hermann ready for the repainted wheels I'm collecting on Monday. Stupid BMW making the seals different sizes - glad I didn't miss that!
Have lined up my trusty mobile fitter to get Metzeler Sportec 01SEs on it. He said get Rosso4s for it but I reckon the SEs should be good for what I do on it.

Some carbon, no scrub that, a lot of carbon and a full akra would finish it off!!

 

Ventured out this afternoon after being lulled into a false sense of security the other day. Bloody cold, no feeling in hands on getting home. That’s me for the remainder of this month.
Dropped and refilled oil on GSXR as I had overfilled it last oil change.

Gave my Diavel 1260S a nice clean today, had her out a few days this week with the mild weather we’ve had. What do you guys use to clean your wheels? I used Muc off degreaser sprayed on a cloth, come out spotless

Replaced the huge number plate with a tidy 7”x5” plate too, back looks well mean now with huge fat rear wheel

 

Be careful with mucoff as I have noticed it can attack plated surfaces.

 

I used the aerosole muc off degreaser, sprayed on a cloth and wiped over the rims. I think I'm going give them a wipe over with a damp cloth now too.

 

Looks amazing. A similar wrap on my new SFV2 is tempting.

p.s. cracking looking bike by the way. Makes me wish I still had a pair of knees that would allow me ride bikes like that any more.
