Had the Bayliss delivered to be ceramic coated. Now waiting for my Scrambler to be delivered and the V2 to be collected
They look the business and waiting for the marriage between the fairing & framework, but stick with the flying man suit, as these might not work for you.
Gave my helmet a spring clean, Jesus it was disgusting. The water was crystal clear to start with and this was a quick soak before a proper hand wash with some detergent. I do this every winter so that’s 1 year and 21 trackdays worth of ming.
legally yes but the dvsa dont really like you doing it. The lad who sometimes works for me does mine.
Received all the outstanding paperwork from the dealership and also email confirmation from the DVLA that I’m now the proud owner of a Panigale V2 Bayliss. Spoke to the guy who’s doing the ceramic coating to it and he assures me it is looking amazing It’s now going to be delivered to me on Saturday so I’m getting a little giddy edit: just received some pics……it’ll be a shame to ride it
You change these machines on a regular basis so i best put my name down for this one in six months time.
Earlier in the week I made some perspex templates of the exhaust hangers I need making for my high level cans - made a second set of perspex ones so I could leave the cans mounted on the bike.. Today I decided I wanted to ride the bike so I pulled the ones of the bike and made some out of alloy - not something I'm going to use permanently but they are good enough while the proper ones are being made Drilling the 21mm hole at the bottom for the rubber "top hat" was fun !
Ordered some HEL brake lines (2 x full length in classic stainless/black) for my recently purchased M4s for my 749 trackbike. Can’t find Performance Friction PF95 pads for sale at usual sellers though - have they stopped selling them?
Sorry…..it’s here and it looks gorgeous! Just been registering the BikeTrac etc. Will take some pics in the morning when the sun’s out
