Small Claims Court

  1. I was always told never mix friendships and money.
    If it was me I'd pay a friend back every penny as promised .
    Sadly I have found out if its the other way round it can lead to oh can't pay you at the moment ( for bikes and stuff) but funny enough they have the money to go on Holiday or buy something else.

    Now days I'm careful.
    Same applies to business ventures.
    Sadly it's often " mates " who screw people over as they see it as well we are mates doesn't matter does it !!!

  3. both sons now have had employers 'go under' leaving them unpaid and gone on to set up a new business

    first son won in court all costs/wages/interest etc , over 2k - not seen a penny of it

    second son we have not gone down that route yet but we know again we wont see any of it
     
  4. I lost approx £55K through companies going under in the 'credit crunch'..............I was not a happy bunny............you don't get what you are owed from big-ish companies that blatantly fold.
