And stopid me thought this a Ducati group. But it really is the cheap-ass BUY CHEAP and you really want a Honda forum. My mistake, Sorry:cold_sweat:

  3. Relax...

It's winter and we all have too much time on our hands (including you?) the accessories are not cheap and remember you asked...

  4. OK, I was only asking about opinions on the top case, yes or no, but I accept that I did not make myself clear.

I shouldn't get stressed by comments when I asked for it, so you're right and I need to chill.

Until I find somebody, or something else, that annoys me! That won't take long, but I'll shadup about the Scrambler!

  5. And one more thing to add, before I retire to watch tele. And of no particular interest to anyone except me!

This Scambler decision is good as I can buy it using my own funds without waiting for the High Court to get its own shit together.

As soon as next month, I can go to Riders and get the ball rolling started. And I can take my Ducati-hating mate along to see him snarl!

Dunno why fe gets so upset as he likes BMWs, and they easily beat Ducati in the overpriced shit stakes! But to be fair, last time I took him, he admitted to liking some Ducatis. And we could agree that the Harleys easily won in the overpriced shit stakes!

  6. I think you should treat your mate to a Ducati t shirt :motorcycleduc: a nice bright red one.

  8. The question is
Do I buy it from Riders of Bristol or Riders of Bridgewater?

In the past (and this is going back many years) all of my Monsters have come from Bristol, but the Bridgewater gaf is bigger and they have been very patient and helpful with me, whilst I faff around! So, I feel a bit of loyalty to Bridgewater, but then again, Bristol have never caused me any aggro and is closer.

What to do? It's all the same group and as Bristol is closer, then I suppose that it should be Brizzle!

  9. Bridge water it is :)

  10. Just Google mapped it. 25 miles to the Bristol branch and 50 miles to Bridgewater. So, no contest:eyes:

  11. What's an extra 25 miles

  12. Are you taking the mick and have I missed the joke? Or, do you really think, "Bridgwater it is"?

  13. I'm not sure what your meaning

  14. If you’re looking for helmet storage when you’re out and about then no other option than a top box. A bit hipster I know but the rear bags each side are a good option but only to carry sandwiches.

Buying a £10k bike and putting Chinese mirrors on doesn’t sit well with me tbh..Id haggle hard on accessories or buy separate, Manchester were offering 25% discount on all accessories last week.

  15. It's not the cost so much, but the look. Atop case is f****ng useful though. My mate has big box on his BM and when we've ridden to Fowlers, I'm quite happy for him to put my helmet in his top case. It is big enough to fit in two, so when somebody else provides one on their bike, I am quite happy to take advantage!.

But his bike looks shit, so you can't really make it look worse. On the Ducati, I don't think that it looks great with one.

  16. I am unsure of your meaning.

We must be talking at cross purposes.

Bridgewater is double the distance from m as the Bristol branch. Actually, it doesn't matter. I can buy it from Bridgewater and get the servicing done in Bristol. I'll need a couple, at least, to keep the bike warranty, but then after that, I can look after it myself.

  17. I was responding to your choice
Because of the loyalty I would go for Bridgewater hence Bridgewater it is :)

  18. I will buy from Bridgewater and if it were to go wrong, then I can blame you, as you told me to!

  19. £10,943.81 now and that's me done. I'll go to Bridgewater next year to have a look and double-check that I am not an idiot!
