Easy fix. I had a show plate with Wayne's registration on and have been riding round all day at well over the speed limit. It felt great.
In my humble opinion, the 70 limit is fecking draconian. It's not just better brakes, but safer to be inside modern cars, more relaxing and easier to drive at higher speeds and even safer to be hit by one etc etc etc, but if you wanna plod around at 60 cause you have no where to be any time soon, can you please just make sure you stay in the inside lane and not hog the middle

1 thing I recon they should do is put a 6' fence down the central reservation to stop rubber necking. The amount of traffic jams I've sat in because of an accident in the other direction......
Unless it's a caravan crash, then they could lower them so you can roll down your window and laugh at the owner
For all those who say 71 is bad and 70 is ok, the limit is the limit. Just try driving around the city of London, excel, city airport, A12, docklands etc. The limits Wang up and down 20 to 50mph, changing several times in less than a mile. You only need to be having a heavy hang over, loose your concentration for a seconds and bam.... 3 to 6 points.
I can put up video stills where the limit drops 20mph, using only small signs, while you have to try and comprehending at least 7 other notices, whilst dropping 20mph, down hill into a tunnel. Driving while on Tramadol is hard enough at the best of times.
Try driving on LSD! The speed limit signs look like markers for what period in history you're driving in and as for the traffic walruses ... Good Goat! Nightmare.
Never mind the cameras, has anyone else noticed that the slower the traffic is, the closer people get to each other? More of a feking issue for getting rear ended but sod all done about it.

20 limits are just the bloody worst! It’s basically them saying, don’t worry just run about in the road and do what you like. We’ll just slow the cars down so much that I little shunt won’t hurt. How about educating pedestrians to cross at appropriate places, not just darting our between cars or from behind buses, when there is a perfectly good crossing 100 yards away. Bring back those green cross education adverts and teach the primary kids about road safety again.
Yep, yesterday in Thirsk, pedestrian crossing with red light..so guy starts walking in front of cars with his bag of shopping about two car lengths away to cross the road. Arsehole. Did I make him wait? What do you think!

unfortunately most drivers/riders out there cant be driving/riding gods like on here so the powers that be have to work to the lowest factor of ability...simples take the speed out gives people more time to think and or react....plus make a few quid on the way!
