  1. I think that's looking good mate, If i am home i could keep an eye out for you as i am on Holy Island and i am often on the mainland riding around!

  2. You could do it if you did the route as a figure of 8

Crossing mid Wales in each direction. :upyeah: Wales map.jpg

  3. It is. Plus there's a good Cafe at the Esso station in Crossgates which is very bike friendly. You can fill the bike and yourself up at the same time.
I agree about avoiding the A55.

  4. Thanks for all the advice.

TT spotted the Esso station at Crossgates on MapSource so I'll make a point of paying it a visit.

Kenoir, thanks for the options but pretty much all sorted now

Pumpman we'll be there sometime in the afternoon of Friday 3rd May. There'll be 4 of us, me on white MTS, red VFR, black old knackered GS and a black Honda Crossdresser....

  5. Crossgates food is good been there a few times on the bike
Get a few bikes there on week days also

  6. What day/approximate time are you planning on being at Crossgates?
I'm home at the moment after having a small op and will be off that week so if I feel up to it I might pop up for a cuppa and a chinwag.

  8. Looking at the route for that day it seems to be about 45 mins after we set off in morning from Hay-on-Wye so probably about 10ish I would have thought - would be about the right time for our first break so too so we'll definitely be stopping there. We'll also be needing to fuel up there by my reckoning...

That'll be on Monday 6th btw
