That's the problem, it's simply not realistic nor a long term strategy, it never was. It's easy to ruin millions of lives when you're sat there safe in your job and financially sound as many of these Drs, scientists and politicians are . It's much harder to tell people hard truths that huge proportions of the people who have sadly died would have died anyway, whether now, in 1 month, two months or 6 months. Not all, but with the average age of covid death being still above 82 it's pretty obvious those pushing 90 or those with huge underlying health conditions would always be walking a tightrope of life and death whether covid, flu or a miriad of other diseases they faced.

Good start. I can’t stand Mrs Browns boys either. Not funny at all. Mind you, I did enjoy Dark side of the Moon. As I’ve said before though. Common sense seems to have died. And another thing, people should try and help themselves first, before blaming (any) government for their woes. Get on with it, god knows how they’d have coped in the war.
I don’t think many are denying the seriousness of Covid, more questioning the best way to control it while still considering other factors, like other treatments and the obvious financial impact. All I really see about devolved govs is when they give a briefing or similar, don’t see much anti, but to be honest I’m not looking hard for that sort of thing. I’ve voted in the past for a party, mainly because they said ‘we’ll put 2p (I think) on income tax, which will raise XX millions and fund this and this’.

Anyone seen anything regarding suspension of MOT testing again? My car was pushed to the last week of November in the previous lockdown and I'm sitting with a few hundred quids worth of parts that I had planned to fit this week, ready for the end of the month.
