Germany has always been a catholic country..all of the nazi high command were roman catholic...none of whom were excommunicated, except that is for goebbels..why you may ask? well it was for the crime of marrying a protestant...you see, even the RC church have standards. the wehrmacht and SS had to swear an oath to god, the fatherland and the fuhrer. the nazi ideology and imagery was based on that of the roman empire and the swastika was a symbol of peace used in ancient judaism and hinduism..although i think it faced the opposite direction in the case of judaism (perhaps why hitler reversed it).. pope pius xii was a conduit between the fascist dictators during WW2 and also ordered that hitlers birthday be celebrated in church (which has never been repealed)..the pope was complicit in the extermination of the jews and also the catholics other sworn enemies, the communists. a lot of gibberish is spouted about them being atheists and killing jews in the name of atheism or some perverse take on evolution (the phrase 'survival of the fittest' was not coined by darwin, but was used as a slur by the church.. hitler was a catholic until the day he died, and in mein kampf, cites many passages of the bible as the inspiration for his vile deeds. the origins can be traced back to Italy, the birthplace of catholisim, which spread to spain and across europe..all of these countries have close ties to the vatican and as such, fascism can be considered the political wing of the RC church..it is also the largest paedopihile ring on earth. Heir ratzinger was also a member of the hitler youth and his father was a nazi..as was for that matter Arnold Schwareneggers' and so was his stepfather..little wonder then that the austrian oak has such right wing leanings, and i suspect is perhaps a closet fascist... if youre a catholic, being a nazi or child molester is absolutely fine, but dont dare marry outside of the churches brainwashing..thats simply unacceptable..
im quite keen on the third reich period history, few realise hitler was voted man of the year by american time magazine in 1938, he looked after his own, put 5 million back into work, built the autobahns to link the country, wanted all german to own there own car, the volkwagen and they had saving stamps to own one, set up a german welfare state, set up strenght throught joy and wanted every german family to have a 2 week holiday, built massive holiday complexes on the baltic coast, and ocean liners, set up the hitler youth and BDM, took back lands taken from germany after the first world war, he could have been one of the most popular leaders ever, unfortunately we know what what happened with the war and holocaust
It was Bismarck who had set up the German welfare state, the first in the world, in the 1880's during the Second Reich.
