I have no idea how I fetched up the job of Electricity Trader. Used to be a consulting engineer doing lots of interesting things in London, but the money/lifestyle balance didn't work too well. Now I work up north and things are much better, I just have to work shifts though.
Trained as an architect, but got sidelined into 'security things' for a few years.....eventually reverted to construction as Technical Director for major developers, but got fed up with the lifestyle and have run my own illustration company for the last 17 years until I got ill at Christmas 2011, when everything came to a dead stop. I'd have said no before yesterdays news! There's massive momentum behind the whole shift towards digital downloads. With Steam on the PC, The Mac Store, Google Play, iPhone App Store and a whole host of others coming to market very shortly its going to be hard for Game.
Im a sales manager for one of the uk's biggest new homes and commercial developer....14 years in the industry and still loving it! Also Mum to 1 nipper and a springer spaniel oh and a duck......plus being the best "wifey" I can! (thats a full time job in itself with duke1276!)
