  5. Due to appear in Manchester magistrates court at 4:30 this aft. Hope they let me out sooner rather than later.

  6. What are you supposed to have done?

  7. Nothing serious! Just got 2 dodgy escalator handrails to repair! :)
Still not looking forward to going.. Nearly as bad as working in hospitals. On the other hand, I do get paid for a 10 hr shift even though it should only be about 3 hours worth of work.
Hoping to be back at home for take away curry time.

  8. let's face it - by the time you're finished there, you are going down son

    (or maybe up)

  9. So, what would I put down on my time sheet, then?

  10. Did you picture her bald on the phone?

  11. Took a long time to find hubby!!! After a few disastrous relationships and loony ex-husband!!! So yes, well happy...even with everything that's going on :)

  14. I went to the local museum today and saw a lovely LS Lowry oil painting.

    Underneath it said "Loaned anonymously."

I went to the front desk and said, "I’d like my Lowry back now, please."

  16. Started to like the look of 749/999. Had a cold shower but still quite like it. Not sure what to do. Really growing on me, especially in yellow! Are there support groups to help me through?

  18. That's 80's kids for ya.

  19. No. It's all water off a duck's back to me. Nutty old bags - I don't let them upset me, I'm far too old to care. She must be in her late 80s I'd imagine. I can't be bothered to feel sorry for unhappy aggressive people, but I still think that they are more life's losers than me.

  20. Continued fine-tuning the suspension set-up on the KTM. Set-up number 5 now and I reckon I've nailed it. Handling tautened up nicely but still comfortable and the ride not harsh. Very pleased with it. Seems to wheelie better too. Back not squatting so much I guess.
