At the other end of the age scale, I took part in a quiz night raising money for a childrens' charity. A fun evening where the team I joined didn't come last but my last £20 helped the organisers raise £1300. If for nothing else, that is in memory of Speno. Andy
Got back tuesday from 7 days of blasting down gorges and up mountains in northern Spain. Bloody epic it was. The weather did it's best to ruin the trip but we carried on regardless, and when the sun came out - wow, what a ride. What made the trip was not just the roads, but the bike too. My £200 SV650 soaked up everything I threw at it and, dodgy fork seal aside, performed way beyond my expectations. What a cracking little bike. It kept a fast group rider on a Superduke in sight up the mountains, and in the tighter gorge roads it was king, bar none. Doesn't matter what you ride, get on the ferry or chunnel asap, and find out what motorcycles were really invented for...
Excellent. So where did you go? Where did you stay? What did you see? Who with? How did you get there and back? How did you avoid arrest?

Today I have mostly been to a Sea Life Centre/Aquarium thingy with the family/grandchildren. I rather enjoyed it.
today I went to work then to the shop to sign for my 1200 DVT and took a couple of pictures of it, only two weeks to wait now.
Going to hopefully go and look at one right now at Beverly Hills Ducati. Great reviews, hope you like it!
Sat in the bloody house waiting for the bloody district nurse to come and take this bloody drain out,and she's now leaving it in til bloody tomorrow :Arghh:
I have harvested herbs, amongst doing other things. Freezed coriander, origano, mint, basil and dill. The bushes are looking a little bit shorn, but it'll all grow back and in the middle of winter, when a recipe calls for a herb, I won't have to make a special trip to the supermarket and shell out £££s for a couple of leaves in a piece of plastic. I love herbs. Some were grown from seed, some from small plants I bought, and the origano is almost a weed in the garden. I think the sage is next.
