So what have you done today..?

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by figaro, Mar 17, 2012.

  1. Took my Diavel in for her first service today. Took the long way round and got home 150 miles later. A good day!

  2. Well I phoned the hospital and got through to my consultants secretary and oooh guess what, my appointment has been moved forward by 3 weeks, which brings it in line with the length of time I had anticipated being unable to drive. Happier bunny now :)

  4. Was in the office and did a new product launch to UK customers. Next week will see it launched in Europe, so have also been dealing with brochure translations.

Got a text from Duke1276 to remind me to get tickets for Whitesnake, Journey and Thunder gig in Sheffield next May. All sorted :upyeah:

Went to Sheffield to buy one of Mrs ET's Xmas presents after she dropped huge "handy Xmas hints" last Sunday after she'd been to a jewellery fair.

  5. Had dinner with someone I've been wanting to get to know better for a long time last night.. Still don't know if its going to become anything, but everything has to start somewhere. Going to see Russell Howard in a couple of weeks with her as well.

  6. Whoooooooo hooo
    Brilliant :)

  11. Woke up to SWMBO throwing up at 6.30am. Was sympathetic and caring. Not

Watched Corrie from last night, then Celebrity Juice :upyeah:

    Watched motogp practice, fell asleep.

Sorted some stuff out for eBay. Listed only a few things on eBay.

Now looking after granddaughter for the night whilst laughing at SWMBO saying "never again" repeatedly.

  12. Tried wrapping a head fairing for my 848 in carbon vinyl...needs some more work!

rebuilt the front calipers on the CBR and actually got the beast running.. ignore the audio - the exhaust doesn't blow just the crappy mobile phone vid. Engine is still cold and on choke in the vid, Idles smooth as a babies bum at about 1100 rpm when warm. This was the first time its run in nearly 2 years.

  14. Patience, a dust free environment, a hot air gun and more patience is what you need

  15. Well that's what I was taught anyway......

  16. Cool! I like the older CBR's!
My day has been boring, i was out on my Monster in the afternoon getting fuel and a quick ride out to Chichester area.
Yesterday afternoon i fitted Renthal bars and some handguards to my Monster 600. Then, in the evening i re-fitted the standard bars  Yup, didn't like the Renthals. Still, you never know until you try!

  17. I posses 1 out of 4....so gonna be tough ;)

  18. Well that's one more than me then!

  19. I had an F-L Jellymould in Benneton colours a couple of years ago - what an excellent bike, so good at everything. Early CBR's may not be as exciting as Ducatis but for the day to day stuff they do take some beating. Sunny sunday morning blast to the ace cafe or the coast? 900ss. Milton Keynes city centre in November? CBR600 every time!
