  5. 30° on the 999 this morning coming in to work. That's 2° hotter than Wednesday. Don't know where we are meant to get up to today, but yesterday was about 35°, so a bit hotter than that. I saw that Geneva is meant to get to 38° today. I'm not sure that I've ever experienced 40°, so I thought that if somewhere in Switzerland was going to hit 40°, I might go there just to see what it's like. But I'm not sure we are going to get that warm.
I have a plan to get to the pool at lunchtime (pretty much the same as everyone else's plan, I would imagine...).

  11. I managed to get out again for a brief ride this morning.Feeling a little more confident on the bike, and was really enjoying the smells of the countryside. The good ones that is of freshly cut grass and hay.Probably not so nice for hay fever and asthma sufferers though.
I can even get into my leathers without using a shoehorn,I need to get out a bit more and eat a few pies if I want to become a real biker.
I shall now take it easy whilst I have the house to myself and do a little bit of web searching for bikes.:) I shall then daydream about the most impractical and outrageously powerful machine which would be totally inappropriate for me.:Angelic:

  12. Worked from home today, had to go to the dentist for a check up :( teeth were on par with the rest of me which is worrying :Dead: On the plus side I dropped my R1 in to Transit Yamaha in York for an MOT on the way there on the off chance they could do it while I was at the dentist, they were very accommodating and said they could do my teeth as well (but I was already booked in at the Dentist so I declined). Teeth passed, bike passed and I finish work at 1.30 :D

  16. Hi Loz.Many thanks for your kind words, they are very much appreciated.I am trying to learn how to build up slowly and not try to run before I can walk.
I am thankful for what I have and have a great deal of sympathy for those that suffer with physical and/or mental health problems.
