  6. ^ you should have come to the BBQ. Had about 30 friends around. Plenty of Spanish and South American food, beer and good weather was with us all day. Took my eldest sailing with the scouts as well. :)

  7. Bollox. I forgot. Sorry Ian :(

  8. No worries. :)

  9. Course it was, we sold it at the same time we sold British Gas to Sid.

  10. After about 5 years of trying, today I got my first perfect score in the Dainese D-Challenge. This requires you to guess the first five finishers of the Moto GP in the correct order. I have been very close a few times, but usually they all start the last lap in the correct order and then the leader bins it, thus bumping everyone else up one position. Result: nul point. Or some outrageous overtaking manoeuvre is attempted that buggers up my prediction, or the pole-sitter just bins it on the first corner. There are all sorts of ways not to make the correct prediction.
Now in the past, that feat merits a free Dainese t-shirt or something, but I bet they will have changed the rules by now.

Oh, and England won the First Test, though Federer lost to Djokovic. Swings and roundabouts (but I was pretty pleased with the cricket result).

  11. Took my son to Gatwick this afternoon as he and his GF are off on their travels for 8 weeks !
Mrs PP will miss him terribly :(
And I will a bit of course.

Going to have to cut the grass myself now and no one else to walk my dog :)

  18. Neither BA nor Easy Jet permit the use of e-cigarettes in flight. Since the introduction of e-cigarettes attitudes have hardened against them and now more and more employers, restaurants, pubs and public venues are limiting their use. Andy

  19. No airlines allow e cigs. Would be better removing alcohol IMO.

  20. dont fly. bad craic.
