  11. After a number of years we now have a hedgehog.it lives under our neighbours shed.We have seen at a few times in broad daylight, meandering across our terrace.my son has also seen it in the small hours wandering around at the front of the house.Tis very pleasing to see it.

  12. They are just top animals. I can't think of any drawbacks they have. I'm not too keen on ours going on the road though, even if it's a very quiet road with very little traffic. But I can't really stop it if it wants to. If it heads off in the other direction, there are no dangers and all sorts of interesting food sources.
I am putting dried cat food in its house (if it actually lives there) and keeping its water dish full.

  16. Good point John.I make a point of just observing our hedgehog. This is mainly because they sometimes carry fleas.

  17. They are noisy eaters.
I mean they are NOISY eaters. Termignoni-without-baffles-plus-a-knackered-dry-clutch noisy eaters. Wake-you-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-with-their-noisy-eating noisy eaters.

    True story.
