So what have you done today..?

  1. We check ours regularly at work. For some reason mine is pretty much text book. When I checked on Tuesday it was 122/80 :)

  2. I bought a 2 litre carton of ice cream on my way home from work tonight.

"Do you want some ?" I asked the wife as I entered the kitchen.

    "How hard is it?"

"As hard as my cock" I said.

    "Pour me some then "

  3. And long may that last ET. I'm fighting genes, my mum, both her parents and her siblings all died from heart related problems although I don't seem to have a defect. I'm guessing years of bacon sandwiches and black pudding for breakfast might have something to do with it :). Andy

  4. Hmmmm you bought a Ducati and frequent the forum isn't that classed as a mental defect ?

  11. Today I've done nothing but that's mainly due to the fact that it's 5.40 am.

I am looking forward to picking up my old ST4 though today.
New steering head bearings, new gel battery, new MOT.

43,000 miles on it and it's still going great.

Be good if Ducati made ST's again.

  12. Just finished fitting the Metzler M7RRs on the 848. If the temperature is below 35c today might give them a blast, but I doubt that it will be cool enough.

  13. Bob they are very good tyres I like em. Was 36 here and I took my streetfighter out anyway :)

  14. And once again ...

Waiting at the kitchenette at work to make my coffee ... two women in front of me, chatting. Fill cup, chatchatchat, stir drink, chatchatchat, put milk in cup, chatchatcha-

"Oh, sorry Loz, were you waiting for the hot water?"
"No, I was just standing here, listening to your sparkling conversation."

Actually, no, I didn't say that but they must have been able to read my mind, I was thinking it so loud.

Multi-task? My pink and rosy arse. FFS.

  15. I drove into work today rather than take the bike.
The main reason: it's forecast to be 35° again today and I just can't face up to putting on the leather armour, but I've learned not to ride without it. It's OK in the morning, but the ride back at 6:30 pm is hideously hot.
But we may get a storm later (this would be good). If I'd taken the bike, we would definitely get a storm and it would rain on me, but perversely, no rain would fall at home. By taking the car, I don't influence the chances of it raining on my garden.
The test match is on and I can listen to it on my walk to the car park, and in the car.

  16. I would have made you one :)
