  5. Stratford upon Avon today..nice evening ride: )
The two main routes for me are both 50 zones now

Great roads..in great condition with ups and downs, long sweeping as well as tight bends..lovely!

The safety man said 50 zone all the way both routes...
Might Write him a letter as it felt really safe at over twice that;)..

  9. Just been to see Terminator - Genesis at the local flicks. Hadn't seen any of the hype or trailers so got a real surprise. We really enjoyed the movie. If you are familiar with the Terminator franchise it's a definite must whether like it or not, the only thing I will say is that you do need to have seen the first 2 Terminators for the film to make sense and be involving. The raspberries are phenomenal this year. I foresee plenty of Jam to see me through the long winter months. Black currants ok, but a bit small this year.

  14. Well today was the second day of the annual Ducati Manchester trip to Scotland:)

First thing it was lashing down so we decided to leave a little later than normal to let the rain ease up a tad. It didn't. So we left around 10.30am and decided to head east where it was supposed to be half decent.

The first hour was wet. Very wet. And cold. But we carried on :)

The route eventually took us to Arbroath via Crieff, Scone, Pitlochry,Forfar, and Montrose. The weather picked up and the roads dried up and were superb!

On the way back the group eventually split up into about four groups all heading back to Loch Lomond by different routes. I missed a turn off for Tarbet and carried on to Tyndrum where I filled up at The Welly. From there I took the Oban road and headed to Dalmally, invarairie and Arrochar. This is @finm country! It is superb, and I was thoroughly enjoying throwing the Scrambler around the twisties. It added about 50 miles to my return journey but it was worth it! :upyeah:

Finally got to the hotel at 7.30, some 300 plus miles under my belt, tired but very pleased with a great days riding:)

Tomorrow @finm is coming to meet me and we are having a run out. Hopefully the weather will be good :)

Ps. The scrambler (though I think it's more to do with the rider) has surprised all the guys on big sports bikes by how quick it is and how it handles :)
