  1. Crappy day of work but this evening, No.1 son arrived for an Indian takeaway and chatski. Plus he had bought me the latest Tame Impala cd so all in all, a good day

  2. I went swimming in the pool I pictured a few pages ago. Times are coming down for the mile.
    Weather looking up, which means it's currently raining, but tomorrow it won't be. Temp is set to become normal too: about 24° instead of 34°. I might even be tempted on to the bike. 24° is about ideal. With these odd storms, the grass might even green up again. I don't like droughts. Imagine living in Spain or southern Italy. Grim.

  5. Today I am heading north to see my mum and this evening we are babysitting for #1 son and wife. We popped through to see them in Manchester mid week and my 16 month old grandson's vocabulary has come on leaps and bounds in the 10 days we'd not seen them. His first words (which were clear as a bell and completely unprompted) when we came through the door was "Hello granddad, I love you granddad". Made me all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

    Conversations this evening should be fun :)

  6. sunny yesterday and sunny again today.
    taking the ugly one to work, needs new rear and service time. swapping for the 848 fancy doing the reverse loop i did with elt last week end. assuming i dont get cornered with a brake down or summit.

  7. Just taken the recently acquired 1983 Honda XLX250R for its first MOT ready for the lengthy process of paperwork to get it road registered. It passed.

  8. Just posted my prototype cables off for their trial fitments for MS1100, 996, 899 Pani and Monster ST4S - should be with the relevant people Monday. Trial fitting the 848/1098 cables within the week with bettes :)

  11. yip thats where i would of left them or maybe on the table next to where i took them off. but nope when they turn up at the back off of a drawer somwhere at the furthermost out post of this shit hole of a house apparently thats where i would of left them. :mad:.
