Vinegar. Sarson's malt. Not that poncy Balsamic shite from Waitrose. Need to do it straight away though really..
Thanks @Ducbird, Minor Injuries clinic nurse says it's a damaged flexure tendon probably done when I dislocated my knuckle several weeks ago. Physio should sort it although surgery remains a last resort. Looks like the 748 is going to get that upgrade with an 853 a little earlier than planned. Andy
Worked my ass off today, because I'm a perfectly committed employee. Had a takeaway for tea. Contemplating going up to the ugp for nosey
For the first time in over a year I took my MH out.Nothing very exciting but a trip to the Mot station.I was a bit rusty for a while, but the sun was shining and it was nice and warm.Had a good chat with the garage owner,he had never seen an MH before and thought it looked like something out of a batman movie. He mainly works on older bikes, especially old BSA's and the like, more old school stuff as well.I enjoyed the ride back home more, despite the traffic. That old air cooled engine has a lot of torque and character. The exhaust noise is something else, always makes me smile when I hear it. Well despite having the inevitable pain creeping over me already,I do have the grin at the moment of a Cheshire Cat,and the enthusiasm of an adolescent. I shall now start thinking about the most outrageous bikes that I could convince Mrs Mervyn that I need/want.Perhaps I should start a riot by saying.........HP2 or HP4 Carbon.Oh dear I have said it now.
I gave up smoking last month, and decided to take the advice from a health magazine which suggested starting a hobby. So today I started doing pottery lessons. And the first thing they teach you to make, is an ashtray
Working hard and have been for weeks now, enjoying a Peroni or three and enjoying the Proms. Bit of Sinatra on and enjoying life Chased up my Mustang order today and still no news, might have to get an XKR whilst I wait
