Never been on one in 20+ years (or ever for that matter) .... Always get knicked, points, followed by a sodding great fine....
It all depends on how fast you are going over the limit as to whether you get one of these courses as far as I know.
5 years ago got knicked twice in a month, in the car, both times with the wife and kids..... 34 in a 30 and 44 in a 40....as i say... Never been on one...
I did. I learnt that if you speed you will eventually get caught and plod will bum you with points and a fine.
Actually went out for a ride tonight, my usual 80 mile route plus a bit tacked on the end, so just under 100 miles. It was nice to be out, and it was lovely and warm. One of my favourite bits was actually not rammed to the nostrils with traffic, but I was so fucking astonished I forgot to dig in and have some fun on it. Fucking fucking traffic. Choked with shitty stuff, everywhere, all the time. At one point I turned off the road and created a brand-new twisty footpath through a wood, covered in mud, full of tree-stumps, over-grown with brambles, broken-down bridges over streams ... and there were still fucking traffic jams on it. (I might be exaggerating.) Hundreds of thousands of fucking cars, every bloody where I go FFS.
Bought 150 carpet tiles for garage. Went to zoo with family and saw the cutest 2 months old sea lion ruining the display, proper funny. Went out with mate on his Dosodurorororor for a few hours round Buckinghamshire and surrounding. His right mirror came totally loose and kept folding in so we went in search of Halfords but met a couple of blokes outside a unit when totally lost who happened to be mechanics and had just locked up. Nipped in and grabbed some spanners and sorted it. Nice when people are nice. Only issue is my bike is to fast for my mate on the Dosodurorororo.
