Went to Hebden Bridge with SWMBO for a rare day out together. Had a nice mooch about and a lovely lunch. Then we drove back the scenic route via little villages in Lancashire and Yorkshire. Weather was beautiful and the scenery was stunning. It was nice to spend time together for a change Tomorrow however I will be out all day with Bettes on the Panigale
Had a pleasant day strolling round and taking pictures at Stourhead, home of the Hoare family, and a fairly stunning set of landscaped grounds. Well worth a visit if you are near or passing, for some natural culture in a stunning setting.
Missus back after 4 weeks away yesterday so it was into Stroud shopping and Costa club, general doing what I'm told including destroying a set of drawers and putting in the car for a tip run Mon. As I was in the garage I managed to fit new earphones into my lid for BT unit, sort a mounting for the twatnav on multi, load up the essentials to the tank bag for day trips out. Worked out how to get my inToute maps into basecamp and upload to my old twatnav. No way I can do Brackley or Popham tomorrow, but will be getting out for an hour or two in the morning and home to do the garden
I was shopping at Tesco this morning when I noticed a blonde woman staring at me. "Excuse me do I know you?" I asked "Yes, I think you are the father of one of my kids" she says. "Feckin' hell, are you the bird I banged on my 30th birthday, whilst your mate whipped me, and your other mate stuck a brush up my arse?" "No," she replied, "I'm your son's English teacher"
Rode over to J&S Assessories this morning after Pilates at 9am. Good range of ladies clothing but no Goretex in that particular store. Bought Mel a Shoei GT Air, part one of his birthday present. Over to Dick Lovetts for yet more recall work on Mel's GS. They confirmed the error code is the ABS, new unit £1500. He loves the ride of the bike but it has been an expensive disappointment, this isn't the first thing that has needed replacement. He bought it because he didn't want the issues the MultiStrada seems to bestow on its owners. Ironic really. Chilling now watching Inspector Montebalno
I worked for a while today well put in the time like you do Went to our cafe and had a pulled pork baguette no kids this weekend so it was better than eating alone Didn't post a pic as you will all think I'm a porker :Bag: Got home and hoovered washed polished and sealed wax on the bonnet Finished now had a coffee watched a bit of game of thrones Off to a small breeds farm tomorrow to catch up with miss sweetpea
Caught up with some friends we hadn't seen for a long time which was great ,went to Frankie and Benny's and the food was overpriced and shit!!! :Grumpy:
We had a power cut at home last night so, instead of a night of TV, the wife and I spent the time chatting. It was a real eye opener - I went to buy a back-up generator today.
they have changed there menu in the last week i am told and your right, it was pish. we go to one regularly, always superb for the money in the past.
