Still chillin' in Barcelona. Popped into Bar Lobo at the back of the Hotel 1898 off the Ramblas for a late lunch, they do the best bowl of clams in garlic and very thinly sliced Aubergine lightly dusted in seasoned flour, fried until crispy and then drizzled in honey and soy. I usually hate Aubigene but there is just something about this way of preparing it. Oh yes, a plate of cheese and Iberco with crusty bread and of course, cold beer. Found a channel to watch the England/Wales game later so set for a pleasant evening. Weather tomorrow is appalling so will have time to watch Moto GP. Silver lining and all that. Andy

Today I got up early, had some breakfast then cleaned my Classic and waxed the chain in readiness for tomorrow's Distinguished Gentlemans Ride. (I'll check tyre pressures in the morning). I then ironed some of my gear for tomorrow and tried it on to make sure the look was ok. What do you reckon? After that we went to the Holmfirth food and drink festival with SWMBO brother, wife and daughter and met #2 son, d-i-l, and grandchildren Florence and Henry. We have some lovely food and drink, and are now full as a gun.

Nice ride out to Brighton with the wife to get her wedding ring sorted. 2 bloody diamonds have fallen out in the 2 months we've been married. Shocking but at least they're fully rebuilding it.

F'Kin hell. I did wonder why she'd gone and got that much antifreeze when she barely knows where the petrol goes.
Had to take one out when we purchased our house last year. She's got one too though so maybe I'll just have to beat her to it. The ol' switcheroo with the plates.
