Draining carbs and tank. What to do with the year old fuel????

 

Could add sporadically to a nearly full car tank? That's what I do anyway

 

deffo, yer car will burn it no prob.
spent my Saturday sorting the last (hopefully) of the last 4weeks cock ups.

 

What's wrong with year old petrol ? Still starts the bonfire and I still get a 20m diameter vapour cloud explosion the gets the windows rattling, upsets the neighbours no end . Andy

 

believe it or not it would go off in about a week in my pegasso carbs. i would have to drain the left hand one every time if i left it more than 6days. had from new for about 10-11 years.

 

Today I went out on the 999 for a gentle blatt. 80-odd miles, nothing extreme.
Left the petrol station after topping up after the ride and got provoked by a BMW with four wheels. Stupid stupid stupid. Fracking behave yourself, Loz

Bit more work on bike #2. All went well until my mate called for a chat 1/2 way though fitting air box. I should if stopped what I was doing or not answered the phone. Didn't notice my lamp had slipped, was purchased on rear subframe, and melted the seat release mechanism.[emoji107]

 

lesson no2 never ever walk away from a loos bolt. ever

 

It must be like being at work with your 2 numpties seeing what I mange screw up.

Quite irritated as did about 30 bolts up today and didn't strip any!!!
