Made the phone call today and started the ball rolling. My two ex Monster Mob 748RS engines will be going in this weekend to be stripped down to nuts and bolts and parts. Going to get both gearboxes "rumbled" and both cranks balanced. The rebuild will include the best bits from both engines and an EVR 853 kit. Hopefully by the new year the bike will be run in on the dyno and enough magic weilded to get some more torque, well a lot more torque actually. Don't expect any of the parts to be bad so intend building the rest of the bits into a refreshed 748RS as a spare engine especially as I have a fair few new spares. Looking at Spain in February or March and getting excited. Andy
Mrs Roadtrip, Had a knock at the door from the council man who has been traveling with the bin men today to ask why we didn't have a pink bag (recycle) out with the rubbish today, she said i can give you Mr RT mobile and you can ring him and ask, still waiting for the call hope he rings, then i can have a polite rant.
The recycle bags are free but they have just stopped the free black sacks because of cut backs :Meh: same the council tax never has cut backs. Can't beat pink sacks :Mooning:
