  4. It was the V Shed. Two courses for just under £10.00 including a free pint. Not fantastic food but very acceptable and enjoyable.

  5. Finally yesterday I got to St Neots after leaving my house at 8.30 and arriving there at 2pm!!! To get mini engine mount replaced at 1320 mini and had a leak on rocker cover which I did wonder
    Jobs done in hour and half
    Very highly recommended I was made very welcome and chatted while Thomas was working on car and me asking lots of questions
    Reasonably priced in comparison to BMW half the price
    Fancied the GP MK 1 while I was there :)
    Only missed junction 7a on the m42 and spent an hour on junction 9 roundabout getting there and
    Nose to tail traffic on way back a14 getting into m6 and onto M42 to get home

    12 hour round trip give me London traffic any day!!!!

    Mini sounds much better too


    Very sadly we have lost a fab smiley man at work today in a car accident today

  7. last time i thought about going any where near there, there was reported a big knife fight between turkish( coincidentally!) expats - stabbings and bodies/people lobbed into the water. Standard sat night in summer near the waterfront, in Bristol.

    have you tried the Pumphouse, nearer the other end of the floating harbour? The hotwells end.

    Chain all fine even got to see it when the rocker cover was off
    Looks like it was a one off
    I have a vibra techniques engine mount on now it won't need replacing anytime soon
    It does have vibration when standing and you can feel it when accelerating bit sounds like a mean machine now :D

  14. Early start this morning and now sitting in pre op having had the first of a series of drops to dilate the iris out of the way. Was going to be first up but the manufacturer didn't have 2 lenses of my prescription so a spare is being couriered over from another hospital. Should be in surgery for about 10:30 so got 2 hours to kill. Had no breakfast so I'm hungry as well :(. Andy

  16. incredibly had a completely free run to work around the road from hell on the 899, so much so i stuck it in race mode and "gave it some welly"

    twas a great mornings work
