I know and appreciate how precious eyesight is so I am more than happy to take advantage of my conversation with the consultant tomorrow. I paid him enough ! Andy
Should have put this up yesterday, finished engine and an added little bit of motorcycle porn that happened to be hanging above the work bench. Andy
I called in the local pub at teatime, to have my usual thursday afternoon pint with a few of the boys. Davy called me over, and asked how I was doing? "Times are getting tough, my friend. I mean, just today my wife told me that she's going to cut me back to only two times a week - I can't believe it" I told him. At which point Bob put his hand on my shoulder and said reassuringly, "You think you've got it bad? she's cut some guys out altogether."
Nightmare drive! Delivered a car to a mate of mine down in new forest and drove the old focus I sold him 3/4 years ago back with no clutch hydraulics! Pulled away in 3rd and fortunately he is close to motorway so graunched it into 5th and got it all way home -just!!!
No, stone chip. it really shows the way the stone hit and slid away! Mind you I walked through the garage the other week and just caught the rear indicator with my hip. Easy way to find they're not rubber mounted !!
Neighbour just dropped my big parcel from Holland (noo- not that!) she signed for earlier. My rear silencers that I'm sending to specialist for coring over Christmas - came with a black metal standard ducati silencer cover - that makes 3! I'm keeping the carbon one that's fitted to my 749 but are the black or silver ones of any use to anyone??? Collection only 1 min from Junction 5 of M4 - let me know or they go in Bin!
Tried to achieve impossible at work, leave for a long weekend with all loose ends sewn up, failed. Ah well. Tomorrow up to the NEC for the bike show. Not been up for a few years and there are a couple of bikes I am interested in seeing.
Me to Charlie (son aged 6): I got some bad news. C: what is it? Me: Keira (teenage sister) is having her mates round tonight and the sleepover. C: how many? Me:9 C: best we go down the pub then.
Good day out at the bike show today. Had a good look at the scrambler and was able to compare to the Yamaha XSR which is one I'm considering. Very nice, was able to almost compare side by side. If get the XSR would need to get spoked wheels, shame about the enormous radiator though. Next step is to test ride them both.
