Wife's still in the hospital. :-( We were expecting her to be home for Friday but after a bit of a balls up, had to have a second operation which has knocked her back a bit. We were hoping she'd be back home over the weekend but looks like an infection might prevent that. Brought the kids in today to see her and that helped cheer her up.
That's a bummer mate. Hope it all gets properly sorted and she can come home soon. Nothing like being at home to help with recuperation. Yes and I hope you and the kids are holding up. You got to look after yourselves as well. Andy
I hope she made some sort of provision's for your dinner before she went in I wish her all the best and hope you all can have a good xmas
Off to Baines in a few minutes to pick the 996 up. Looking forward to a dry if windy ride home. Last ride till March I expect. Don't know the size of the bill yet. Suspect it's more than a phone call to Ireland though.
Also, got made to get off the bike to fill up with petrol. They would not start the pump till I got off. Health and safety apparently, never had that before
Shell garages insist upon bikers dismounting - at least the ones I use do. It's so we don't burst into flames. I felt truly loved when they told me that
always get of your bike when filling. they can and have gone up. saves the risk of spilling on yer nuts to.
Sounds like you need to go for the lounge option? My bonneville was fine in loung but my 749 (first Duke!) has got some Hi Tec alarm and my moggy keeps setting it off!
