Fitted 1199 LED rear indicators to my Multistrada. Simple swap and very pleased. and a quick shot of the comparison. Happy that is also very bright. Andy
went to work came home feeling Sh1t so taking precautionary antibiotics that will hopefully fight the possible infection. The Drs told me to start taking them the minute I start feeling unwell, the trouble is it could be a simple cold and the tabs won't fix that. back to bed
After my early shift at work I took the decorations down then boxed them up and back to the attic with them, while I was up there one of the lights stopped working so I fixed that while it was on my mind (just the starter on a fluorescent tube) Then I chilled out a bit, still in pain after going to the gym with a friend yesterday after having Christmas off...
For all the misogynist poetry lovers on here.... I have a little Satnav, it sits there in my car. A Satnav is a driver's friend it tells you where you are. I have a little Satnav, i've had it all my life. It's better than the normal ones, my Satnav is my wife. It gives me full instructions, especially how to drive "It's sixty miles an hour", it says, "You're doing sixty five". It tells me when to stop and start, and when to use the brake And tells me that it's never ever, safe to overtake. It tells me when a light is red, and when it goes to green It seems to know instinctively, just when to intervene. It lists the vehicles just in front, and all those to the rear. And taking this into account, it specifies my gear. I'm sure no other driver, has so helpful a device. For when we leave and lock the car, it still gives its advice. It fills me up with counselling, each journey's pretty fraught. So why don't I exchange it, and get a quieter sort? Ah well, you see, it cleans the house, makes sure I'm properly fed. It washes all my shirts and things, and keeps me warm in bed! Despite all these advantages, and my tendency to scoff, I only wish that now and then, I could turn the bugger off. Pam Ayres
Great mod,i have done the same, but just as not to confuse anyone, the led indicators are off the 1199 the 899 has the same indicators as the standard multi ones.
Tree down and some of the decorations. Rest will come down twelfth night. Must be going soft because whilst I love the decorations I usually can't wait to see the back of them either. Not back to work until tomorrow so push bike ride this morning and then a tough Pilates session. Dog taken on long walk.
My boss phoned me today. He said, "Is everything okay at the office?" I said, "Yes, it's all under control. It's been a very busy day, I haven't stopped." "Can you do me a favour?" he asked. I said, "Of course, what is it?" He said, "Hurry up and take your shot, I'm behind you on the 7th hole."
Been out and bought a new black tie and shoes for next week, and got home to a nice box from amazon with my sat-nav and memory card . Sadly I have to babysit the laptop while it does all the updates before I go and wire it in, if I leave it alone it goes into sleep mode and stops everything even though I have it set to not do that... Just want to get out there and test it...
Taxed GSXR and took her for 15 mile "shake down" after winter service and spruce up. All looks good, need to take the fairing off to check all the nuts/bolts some time this weekend and tighten the new chain. Gear selector is in wrong place which is a pain but quick/easy to rectify. So different to the 996 it's unreal. Going to take a while to dial myself in jumping from one to the other. Can't remember the last time I rode in January, possibly the first time this century.
