From odd bits youve posted here , you've been very supportive of your sister. All the best for the coming days.
Good news: after a rather long conversation regards it being a Ducati security system or not (Ducati made it and fitted it so it is in my eyes) and being quoted £150 + £50 admin fee to add the 999 to my multi policy I got it for an additional £60 for 7 months with no administration fee. Bad news: spark plug socket and banjo not turned up (naughty postman) so no work on bike today, if it doesn't come tomorrow I'll be spending the weekend in BnQ and doing DIY.
I took my parent's to see family at the coast today as Dad's not confident driving 160 miles in a day any more, I got fuel money and an excellent meal as well as catching up with that branch of the family, not a bad day at all. When I got home I changed the chinese switch for the aux lights for a pretty much identical switch, let there be light. Autopsied the knackered one, rusty contacts, the new one has been silicone greased and was £3 for 5. Also added a brake reservoir sock as it keeps weeping.
So not content with being fed a meal, you charged your elderly parents fuel money!!! Like your style !
Haha I had no choice really, my mum insisted... It might have been tactical as it's her birthday next month...
