  2. That's not good at all [emoji853]

Got home from work at 21:30, 13 hours is enough for anyone. Mind you, can't reap the rewards without putting in the effort. [emoji846]

  3. Had a nice party at Medway Yacht Club.

    Nice views.

  4. Mate congratulations! I hated the bloody whole bad thing nearly as much as losing my left bollock? The poxy leg bag things were more than useless and constantly required emptying and I won't go into how many times the bloody tube pulled apart and soaked me! Found the whole bag thing embarrassing, awkward and very very uncomfortable!

  5. I got told today by my medical team of experts that my diagnosed Muscular Dystrophy ( November 2015) is probably incorrect and that they are pretty sure I've not got that? They say that they don't have a clear picture of what I have got but have made an appointment for me to see a specialist in London next week - so I arrived home this afternoon on a bit of a high as maybe I've got some easy to fix disease/illness that has a cure? Wahay I thought - light at the end of what has been a very long tunnel! That was until I googled the "top in his field" specialists name??? He is the MS expert!!! FFS why couldn't he be an expert in something a bit less shit??? Still,if I'm honest I knew the fella wasn't gonna be a specialist in hearing problems? Ho hum

  7. I remember when I woke up in hozzie this time last year feeling like shit after some long and heavy surgery and getting told I had something in common with Adolf Hitler (one nut!) I had the usual procession of well meaning friends and family laden with grapes and bananas who didn't quite know what to say about my missing bollock. Then my true friend shuffled into the room with a big brown greengrocers paper bag and I stuck my hand in but I thought it was empty and then right in the corner I found it! - one big purple Plum!!!! Hahaha - brilliant

  8. I don't know if you shared and I missed it but I didn't know you were going through something. Anyway, I'm pleased for you that your making and feeling the progress. One step at a time.

  9. I have a very close friend who was diagnosed with lymphoma over 10 years ago, probably closer to 15, and seems neither up nor down with it. There are a number of types and hers, thankfully, is non-aggressive. While I would never wish cancer on anyone, I can only hope, given your friend's diagnosis, that he has similar.

  10. I didn't have that problem, luckily, but I did have the catheter getting blocked. Within hours, the rising bladder pressure becomes very painful and life-threatening. I had to be taken to hospital by ambulance to have it dealt with, so now I'm relieved I no longer need fear it happening again.

  11. Prostate cancer (adenocarcinoma). The prostate has been removed, and I will find out next month whether they got all of the cancer or if any traces remain. A a prostate gland is something you can live very well without, unlike a liver, pancreas, etc., so I was lucky there.

  16. Worrying times. I'd hate the wait. I'll keep my fingers crossed they removed all the cancer.

  17. Hi Pete, whilst not wanting to make this some kind of hospital journal, can I ask what, if any, symptoms did you experience prior to being diagnosed. I heard on the radio recently prostate cancer is a huge killer of males, and not wanting to waste my doctors time etc thought I'd ask a fellow Ducati enthusiast !

  18. Perhaps some proper medical notes will help you......

But if you're not sure and a ten min Drs appt or death are the two options I easily know who I'd be asking, and it ain't on the Internet .

  19. I don't think your doctor would feel your wasting his time
If you have anything that's making you uneasy get it checked out straight away
It's a huge killer of males because they don't want to bother a doctor so shift your arse and get it sorted tomorrow

  20. I completely agree with Ducbird and TT600. If you're concerned then get your arse (bad joke I know) down to the docs (not docks).

(Couple of glasses of red wine, in case you're wondering)
