got out for a quick 'giro' and stayed dry for most of it - only one bike at Newlands Corner, a big BMW (it would be wouldn't it?) with panniers.
Ah, no. Too much illnesses in my house ATM was feeding the boys corn snake, took my eyes off it for a second and it was gone. Now found fortunately
that sounds like a ghastly scene from 'Merlin' featuring a Nathair creature, not a homely TeaTime at Mr & Mrs Jerry's !
My king snake ( no longer with me) was an escape artist ... First time she got out and got in my bed ... Second time got in my cockatiels cage and I was woken up by screeching birds , Akasha was trying to eat them Various new tanks .. She still got out and got under the floor boards and got into the flat downstairs .. Eventually she returned some time later after I assumed lost forever curled up round a radiator pipe ! That was the last snake I had ... I was going to be rude but I've sobered up....
Blue sky this morning, patio looking dry, well above freezing........ Today could be the first day in ages. Grap a coffee and dig out the bike gear; Christ the leathers have shrunk over Christmas! Finaly all geared up and anticipation high, open the front door and yes it's started to rain. Bol####s!
Sorted out some clothes that I no longer wear for the charity shop, which allows me to get my new stuff in the wardrobe and drawers. I've also transferred some weighty files from my PC to my external HD to make more space. I have bot all planned for the rest of the day. :smile:
Oh man, I've done two loads of washing, run the hoover round, washed up the washing up mountain, cleaned the van and made pies. I'd make some bloke a lovely wife. And no, it's a one-way street
Yesterday I sat on my bum and watched very episode of Greenwing for the first time since it was originally shown on TV; so today I thought I had better do something energetic.......... .......30miles on the bike full blat wherever possible.............missed all the water and mud on the road so I kept it nice and clean..... ...then as I turned into my drive, I crossed a small patch of sludgy mud up against the drop kerb..... .....Ho-hum.....I know what I will be doing tomorrow..... AL
Was going to do washing but found some underwear, socks and other misc. so tomorrow. Hover hm no beer better, one good thing about me I wash up ASAP even when I cook I wash the pots I do not use no more so usually left with one or two at the end, went shopping for beer and other stuff as fridge empty tummy rumbling. Went to garage to clean the monster same as hovering ended up thinking better of it and had few beers. Made fajitas, sour sauce for them and pre prepped chicken for tomorrow. Plan for tomorrow evening complain chicken was to spicy whilst sitting on toilet. So what are you going to do tomorrow?
