do remember a similar one around the Chertsey area (knew owner) about 22 years ago - was all white though (no J. Ross pun intended) but chance it's the same one?
Highly likely Chris, the owner lives in Woking, which ain't a million miles away, and the paintjob is definitely not original.
Real men don't ever run out of beer......every thing else, yeah.....beer no way! Im hoping I can make a dent in my stockpile when I get back home, after my piss poor performance over Christmas.......
Had a nice day out on my Explorer with the Surrey Triumph Owners today ending up at Box Hill where I met Chris. Good to see you Chris and hopefully again next weekend.
I've just taken my second and thank gods final dose of the gut churningly awful gastrografin. The kids are home this evening so have the pleasure of listening to my guts rumbling over the sound of the tele roll on tomorrow and the joys of having more than 2 cups of tea/ coffee a day, I've usually had 3 cups before I start to function in the morning :-(
Well it was New Year's Eve: Went skiing (don't my thighs know about it) Snow was a bit icing-sugary and there were too many people - but hey, it was sunny and greet to be out. Then I spent the evening at a friend's who lives in the most amazing barn conversion. Apart from some sponds, he has great taste and has this Foggy rep 916 as an ornament. Can't complain - he already rides a couple of Triumphs, a DB1 and and an MHR - all of which I have tried out. Back in the day, I also got to try his/his father's Norton Commando and MV Agusta 750 - that of the late 70s, and a couple of Harleys (since sold). The MV is is bits, but is supposed to see the light of day again this year (well maybe). Recent over-enthusiam on the Thunderbird has landed him with a 6 month ban. Good meal though!
Today I pulled the trigger on some more Carbon bits... Battery Bracket Vent inserts Seat cowl cover Upper Fairing Stay http://www.bellissimoto.com/CarbonvaniStays.html Ducabike new sprocket cover (Red) Ducabike frame plugs (another set because are nicer)
Rode to Poole with my son for Mod 1 - nice 70 mile round trip He passed Popped into MSR on way home & ordered an Oberon Slave to celebrate temperature was 13 degrees and roads were not too bad but there are some fekin big pot holes out there
Had assorted medical paraphernalia put where the sun shineth not and had a vein explode when the medical professional was trying to give me a muscle relaxing injection :-(. All done with now just have to wait for the results now.
