Hey et.... Do you get preferential treatment seeing as "yer the forum admin..." I had one test ride on an s1000r and they told me "we want it back in an hour" and kawasaki wouldn't even let me test ride a z1000 atall he just came out with it and said "i reckon you're going to buy one elsewhere... No. I don't but I do stress that I need to know if I can live with the bike. And a big part of that is that I have to take it home to see how it copes with the very steep courtyard access we have. And as I live an hour and a quarter away from the dealer I would need at least 3 hours to do the job properly.

Bit of an odd day for me. The doctor's first thing for the results of an X-ray I had on my neck to try and explain why turning my head to the left and right pulls through my shoulder. Cut through the jargon and I've got calcified nodules on the 6th vertebrae in my neck that are growing into a nerve nexus. Physio this afternoon for the lower back and it turns out after the spasm I suffered in March, the muscle group up the left side of my spine is still way too sensitive which makes it grabby. Upshot short term is no 1098, longer term a CT scan and potentially key hole surgery to remove the nodules. Lower back is just time, exercise and improved posture .... oh and a new office chair. Got an observed run (on the Multistrada) tomorrow and got 4 weeks to be good before Mallory on the 853 or maybe the 1098 . Andy

Had to wait in for a parcel all day, so got some tunes on in the garage and went over the 1098 with some Meguiars Gold Wax. Then cleaned my chain & sprockets. She's shining like a s**t house door.
Bike looks really nice. What make is the workshop bike platform? I'd like one but it isn't going to happen yet.
Two new Metzeler Roadtech 01's arrived today. Can't wait to get them on the ST4 and see the back of the Michelins which I never liked.
