At 8am I was out of the house on the Panigale to meet matt46 (formerly of this parish) and a mate of his, both of whom have ZX10's now. We did a quite circuitous (but very good) 110 mile route to get to Squires. Matt had to be back for 12.30 so we eventually headed to his where I bought a pair of Knox gloves from him cos after wearing them once he'd decided they weren't for him. My Handroids were bolloxed after my recent trip to Jockland when they got absolutely soaked, and the way they dried out meant that the only way I'd be able to wear them properly again was if I broke all my fingers to suit. Anyway I got a super deal. His loss, my gain This afternoon I've been north to visit my mum in hospital and I've just got back. Seeing as the weather is going to be nice again tomorrow I think I'll spend all day riding again. I'll decide which bike in the morning
I got a strange phone call from my Mum as I was about to start painting again "can you call me a taxi to go and collect my sister from hospital?" can I hell, I will take you. After delivering my auntie home I painted the garage doors again, no less than 16 hours between coats according to the paint can and my first time using exterior gloss paint, makes it a long ass job. then round to a friends for a bit. After, just got the hinges and handle to paint black. Another friend invited me on a ride tomorrow to St Marys loch, a 6am start for me to meet them all for probably a 500+ mile ride, nope, I really don't fancy that.

Today I did about 250 miles on the MT, big loop round from Doncaster, Selby, Towton, The Sun Inn at Norwood, Devils bridge, Sledbregh, Nateby, Thwaite then down the buttertubs pass to Hawes, Leyburn, Ripon, Tadcaster, Squires and home again. I took a few pictures on the phone between Thwaite and Hawes... I have no idea where this one was taken but the Archimedes screw was unusual enough for a pic. Edit, Bainbridge.
