Yesterday was furniture shopping, don't mind antique shops, find them interesting places. The result is that we are going to view a grand piano. I know naff all about them, wifey seems to. Could be an expensive day
It's no big deal, some of the guys and girls on here have had much much worse to contend with. My biggest concern is we have the food festival in town today, weather not so good, we have visitors to entertain. It's going to be challenging. I will do my best to eat some hog roast rolls, with stuffing and apple sauce.. I think my Mrs is going to have to give a speech at a council planning meeting on Tues next week that I have not drafted yet so that will be interesting.
Fuck me, a food festival and some weather, combined with some visitors? All those whiners in war torn Syria and endless gripers with chronic illnesses will thank their lucky stars after reading of this Kafkaesque hell you are enduring. Chin up, it could be worse......you might find a pip in your Apple sauce:tonguewink:

We've just had a fab meal at a fab restaurant in the middle of bumfucknowhere. I would highly recommend this place if I could remember the name of it
Finally collected the banana from Geoff at Baines Racing after 3 weeks which felt like an eternity... the weather was awful but the bike is f$kin amazing despite leaving me significantly poorer...
Got a free ticket to Arsenal v Southampton - not the most exciting game I've ever been to? As a Chelsea fan of 50 + years thought I could slip in with my Gooner mate unnoticed? WRONG!!! 5,000 Gooners make a lot of noise when they sing " Fuck off back to Stamford Bridge!" Hahaha
you were right creamy... well worth the wait and geoff really is very very good (and i have unreasonably high standards as i guess most of us ducati types do)
Today we have been to Port de Pollença. And I was quite surprised, expecting it to be a hot version of Whitby given the number of Brits that go each year. In fact it is really rather nice and it was very hot! Managed to keep cool(er) by swimming a few times in the sea, though the water was like a warm bath. Now back at our farmhouse having a beer before we go out for a meal, and packing to come home tomorrow.
