Arriving home at 7.27am indicates to me it was indeed a good session, surprised you could find your front door let alone type!
Aaah, I'm on the other side of the globe, so pm here, but was OK, 6 pints of Spieghts in 2.5 hrs and caught up with a friend I haven't seen for 6 years, so all good.
I have been carrying on the good works of de cluttering. Some bike bits and a bike put on Fleabay.Just waiting now for the loonies to get their daft emails out the way before somebody normal turns up.
My dads 84 and is down to 3 bikes. Dose not ride anymore but he likes to have them there. He'd like to have not "made some space" and kept some of the others if he could do it again. Just saying........
I tend to alternate between stockpiling everything and anything when I am on an upper.Clear out everything when I am on a downer.I am hoping I am sensible enough to make the right decisions,Ha Ha. I think I might have been sensible years ago.
Got up far too early, ate a fried breakfast in a Sainsbury's near Oxford with 86 other bike riders before splitting up into 4 groups and heading for Llandrindod Wells. Arrived safely with my group but I know Carole's group managed to lose 4 riders before getting out of Oxford. Enjoying a beer before she arrives and will have another one when she arrives. I'd have added a smiley but the internet seems to be steam driven. Andy
It's my wife's birthday today, so I'm taking her out tonight to that place where you can drink as much as you like for £4.50. The swimming baths.
Oh dear- went down a side path and found these. That's 3 miles swimming in3 pools before breakfast and a 50km punisher before elevenses now....
I've got a job interview today to become an Argos delivery driver. To show them that I'll fit in well, I'm going to turn up anytime I like between 7am and 7pm.
Slowly trying to get back into some sort of healthier work life routine. Took my push bike out for a quick spin early this morning, thought I'd be up and about before the locals, seems not. I'm going to use an a app on my phone for gentle encouragement, must do more... sleep more, eat less, eat healthier. I want to do some trackdays next year, so that's an incentive, just to fit into my new and unused leathers.
Nail in the rear m7rr has finished it off... Brilliant... Just the front left to go... Don't worry Ducbird....its not a bad thing. I hated those m7rr's, the most "bigged up" tyre ive ever read about that turned out to be the worst...for me anyway...the front has still got quite a bit left on it so I don't want to take it off until its worn through...ive got some part used tyres in the garage so ill be going through those then ill get a new set....gonna try either a top end set of dunlops next or some Michelins....
