been polishing my little RS and plotting dyno time. It's VERY hard to resist chucking a fairing on it and taking it round the block
Had another pair of PR3s fitted at Wheel House Tyres Birmingham....... ready for the Alps in 3 weeks time
Picked bike up from Snells after service, attempted to clean it using lots of Vulcanet wipes, packed for WDW (much to my amazement I got everything into my existing Kriega tailpacks)...
Made a gallon of chilly with Scottish bonnet chillie's and made a real cake (not one of those delicate one's)
The triumph is finally back in one piece:biggrin: View attachment 3125 All sorts of bits and bobs done, so today I'll test 'em out. Pretty sure just moving the bike around that the fork oil is too thin, but I'll give the bike a good thrashing to be sure. See if you can work this out; I spent a good hour last night trying to find the V-shaped fairing panel that sits in front of the bellypan, I knew where I put it, but I couldn't find it at all. Went in the shed this morning and there it was, exactly where I'd left it. How does that work? I reckon it's pixies at play...
Fantastic ride out with hubby and Dad for Father's day, ended up at Whiteways for coffee, truly excellent ride.
Took bike in for service (yes, I abandon it there and post the keys through the letterbox) by a roundabout route that is nearly 100 miles long, over the Col des Mosses. Bikes out in force through the twisties. Great ride in balmy temps. Then a succession of scenic trains back home through vineyards, along Lake Geneva and then through the twinky wheat-bearing countryside I live in. Just in time to catch most of the Dutch failing miserably to qualify against Ronaldo. Highly satisfactory (although Robben, Van Persie and Sneijder - talk about underachievers).
Never have we owed a bigger debt of gratitude to Mr Charles V "Charlie" Eaton Sr than we do now. Looking good Bradders
2-10 shift again today. Hope it goes better than yesterday. Here ya go Al. I noticed a bright glow in the sky yesterday, thought it was the sun. Should have known it was only you lighting all those candles . Hope you had a good `un.
