Conclusion we came to as well, two days travelling and several hundred pounds in hotels food petrol tolls etc etc to save a day ski pass. Would have been a laugh though
Been to see Riley Walker at the ruby lounge. Top gig though a little too much Murphys for a school night!
Three snapped exhaust studs finally removed from Mutley's front cylinder! New studs, nuts and gasket and back on the road in time for the bad weather! They really did not want to come out. Jon.
It was the master for two of them, but it just would not "stick" to the third, upper, stud. It seemed to be coated in something, wire brush, brake cleaner, nothing would shift it. Eventually drilled the centre, whacked in a self tapper and slid a 13mm nut over and welded the lot together. Then it saw sense and let go! Jon.

Bloody hell - im genuinely shocked that theyre not rusted through...as the front studs on my 2010 hyper essentially disintegrated inside the socket i was using to undo them. Premium product topped off with shoddy second rate fixings...the same stuff that holds all the chinese crap together...they [Ducati] will never listen and ill just keep banging on about it...
I've been to apply for a Chinese visa. I have to collect it on Friday and all for the bargain price of 150 earth pounds:/
I got my water bill today - £650 for the year Then I saw an advert for Oxfam stating they can supply a whole village with water for £5 a month. Think I'll be changing my supplier
Tip for today - If you're ever feeling down or depressed with yourself and need a bit of a pick up, park your car in a disabled bay and stand next to it. It won't be long before everyone starts to shout that there's nothing wrong with you.
Picked up some sheet stainless to fabricate a tail tidy for the hyper. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
