  1. At the moment it's only the 4 of us, wifey quite happy with this, I'm not as it feels like a normal Sunday lunch. Negotiations ongoing as to who I can invite. If you came we would end up refitting the SA on the 999 which would not be popular.

  3. Can I come too :)

  4. I'd be quite happy to spend xmas on my own. Most depressing time of the year, haven't figured out why. Every year I say I'm pissing off until it's all over but never do.

  5. I know why I find it depressing, because every year I say I'm pissing off till it's all over but can never afford to.

  6. Yeh for me it's like you're expected to do shit.

Do you miss home at xmas?

  7. One of the better xmas days I had I washed and waxed two cars, had a plate of quality cheese and biscuits plus port. That's it. Job done.

  8. I miss home in general alot of the time, but not at Christmas, wasn't a fan back there either.
    like yaself its the expectations.
always find myself agreeing to do stuff in advance and then come the day not feeling like doing it, then I either am captain let down or I spend the day all uncomfortable.
also hate the way ya can't just wing it, every ones got their lil family rituals and shit goin on..

  9. On radio yesterday, local station, bloke won £1000 on Tesco vouchers. The man was crying, genuine emotional wreck. Made his xmas. Families must feel it, only if you allow consumerism to take over I suppose.

  14. Its the falseness, the artificiality of it all I can't stand.
Christmas Day. Great day to ride your bike if the weather's good.
If I was a vicar or a pub landlord my Christmas message would be - Where were all you fuckers the rest of the year?

  19. Don't be sorry for not liking cars.
Doesn't make a jap bike bad though.

  20. no, I like jap bikes. I like anything with wheels and an engine! Just design wise there's not alot of originality goin on in the jap front and most cars look the same to me.
