  4. Finally did the Timing Belts on my SSie, the removed set looked absolutely fine, should have left them on, but it has been 8 or 9 years since I last did them so thought what the hell I'll just do them.

  5. Had to retire to my bed today, sinuses are full, chest is agony, head hurts, managed to pull a muscle in my back during a coughing spasm and on my way back to bed having retrieved medication, managed to kick the top stair and now have a very painfull toe that has gone black with the bruising. Drifting in and out of sleep so far but feel awful. Hopefully I'll be on the mend by tomorrow so I can get the food we've ordered and pick Carole's christmas present up if it's arrived. Andy

  12. I've been hassled most of the day by space cadets. Chinese ones at that.

  13. I am thoroughly ashamed of my actions today! I heard about a guy who lives round the corner from me who has a 1961 Lambretta hairdryer that he wants shot of.Its a genuine Italian original thing that was registered new here in 1961 and not some Vietnamese/Indian thing that has been fabricated from a rusty park bench and an old filing cabinet? It starts up ok and looks genuine enough but could benefit from a period paint job.Does anyone know what to look out for with these scooters cos they are Alien to me?

By the way - from what I can gather it's a 61 Li 150? Thanks for any help

  15. I would be interested in this as well, as I have one 'resting' in my garage.

  16. I am reading a book on Peruvian shamanism which I am shortly to translate into English. I may even do a couple of pages today, but I have the gingerbread men to make (I have already received requests for Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and some jihadis). I think I need to go swimming too.
Just seen a treecreeper on my apple tree. That's only the third one I have ever seen. More fog here, all day. It's getting a bit dull (in fact, it's been literally dull for weeks).

  17. 4 hours work...just weighing up if I should charge for it as its pre-contract start 'getting up to speed' or not...all new to me :)

  18. How deep are their pockets? Will they care?

  19. There's not much to know really. It could be a Spanish Eibar, but that's not a bad thing. Prices vary wildly depending on condition.

  20. Its only a fixed 12 week project so instinct says I should get in everything I do rather than give freebies. All the contractors I employed would :)
