So what have you done today..?

  1. Is that the 4 series?

  2. Weather was so foul again today I decided to start looking out the track parts for the 1098R. Dug out the spare tank, gave it good clean, made a new 'O' ring for the DP fuel cap and fitted it to the tank.

That's enough for now, don't want to peak too soon and tire myself out :). Andy

  3. On Saturday a mate and I put new downlighting in his parents kitchen. Changing from MR16 to chip on board downlights has made a massive difference, they were supplied by my work, so I know they are good quality too.

  6. Today I had a nice little contract confirmed verbally. Now waiting for all the bureaucratic stuff to be done in the next week or so.

It's only a few hundred grand but the "halo effect" is massive :)

  7. Very nice and a good choice. My dad used to have a 635csi, guess I've always has a soft spot for them. Many happy miles :)

  10. Whats next Phill ?

  11. Earlier this evening I managed to set up my tv with my newly purchased Amazon Fire stick loaded with Kodi. And I've already watched "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". Which is nice. :)

However, to bring the mood down I've just found out that a very good friend of mine died of a heart attack a few days ago on holiday. I'm absolutely shocked and shaken by this news. And unfortunately I won't be able to go to the funeral next week as I'll be out of the country :(

  12. Spent the day with my head buried into visio and trying to work out some useable workflows. May not improve things but at least they look pretty now :upyeah:

  18. Well passed my CAA exam today and flew back from Aberdeen. Played in the garage and removed the catalytic converter from the new Thruxton R. Just watching Tina and Bobby. Anything with Michelle Keegan in will do for me

  19. What's a CCA exam and what's a Thruxton R like?

  20. CAA- civil aviation radio licence (which isn't easy by any means. Closed book exam both written and practical). So I can talk to helicopters and do my Helicopter landing officer course (which I'd rather not do, but work forcing my hand). The Thruxton R is new triumph café racer.
