Find out where & when your local IAM Motorcycle group meet, go down and have a chat and a run out with them, it won't cost you anything. If you enjoy yourself, join. They will run you through all the safety checks that you should be doing. It's all done in a very relaxed, friendly way. Age, ethnic background, social "status" etc, etc do not come into it - you ride a motorcycle, that's enough, end of. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Got invited to a works curry tonight. Local restaurent with 26 covers of which we took 24. Gave the kitchen free range and sat down to papadoms and pickles, samosas and bhajis and then a selection of 4 different strength dishes with rice and 2 naans. Very enjoyable evening and great to see so many people working to pay my pension . Andy
Found an old oil lamp in the shed this morning, and when I rubbed it, a Genie appeared saying I could have one wish granted. "Make me irrestible to woman" I said. The cunt turned me into a credit card
Smart arse . Okay I should have said a works do from where I used to work. It's only been 3 and a bit weeks but I don't think I'll be looking any time soon although I did rather enjoy helping Exige secure his 1098R. Perhaps I can become a personal buyer for people looking for that special bike. Now that sounds like fun. Andy
Just changed my answerphone message "I am not available right now, but thank you for caring enough to call. I have been making some changes in my life. Please leave a message after the beep. If I do not return your call, unfortunately, you were one of the changes."
I walked out of my job at the Helium gas factory today. I will not be spoken to in that tone of voice.
Been trying to diagnose the constantly on fuel light on my 996. About to give up. Again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got most of my work sorted before lunch so finished off the wheels I modified to go in my cbr, blasted and coated, new bearings. Just about to get tyres swapped & fitted, if all goes well. I will be back home before the mrs finishes work. Probably should have priotised the mess in the garden from the UK version of Hurrican Katrina, which has so far managed to remove a couple of the tiles on the (roof) hip. Seem to have been flat out this week at work. Bureaucracy is holding up two projects, which is pissing me off.
My youngest 21st birthday today, We went to the viewing platform at the top of The Shard to listen to storm Doris then over to China town for a bit of grub.
We'll whilst Doris was battering down. I decided to change the hyperstrada's fork oil. Found that the left fork had too much oil in it, almost 100cc. From the factory! Just hope the ride is better now.
