  1. If you proper stand it up they can't see the number plate!

  2. Doing up a rental flat/maisonette at moment and rather than buy more carpet for exterior hallway (which only gets trashed double quicktime) I went the garage floor paint route.Looks good enough for a rental but need someone to do cutting in as I'm a bit "shakin Stevens" nowadays

  3. As it's white painted brickwork I'm gonna do a few Banksy stencils in hallway to trendy it up.Can feel the rent going up as I write!

  6. Had couple of hours out on the NS400, acting like deranged '80's teenager. It was great until the roads got wet. All back in the house now ready for the post ride cleanup.

  9. Hahaha - I'm the first to admit it's all a bit passé but it's an ex 1 bed council flat that you can't swing a Manx cat in! The fat slob I bought it from couldn't get on the plane fast enough to Spain to iron out the lump of profit on bad marching powder and Russian brasses. He will be back in a couple of years totally potless and living with his old mum?Ho Hum

    And wtf with the chain?!

Lubed and cleaned and no rust when collected from Snells two weeks ago. They cleaned the bike too. One ride home and looks like it's been in the canal for a month!! Going to have to bite the bullet and get a new gold jobbie, but at least that means I can get the right ride height again :upyeah:

  13. Ah, so there's no drain hole at all under the lower shock mount?

  14. Fitted the new front brake light switch after this I spent 1 hour fitting the Exact cables, and checking over all the electric connectors.
Should be good for MOT next week and then the first ride after 5 years of storage.
Just noticed there is no side stand switch on the bike..is this and issue for MOT?

Nice puddle around the shock..or may say shocking design :smiley:

  15. I've had a great day out, took the 748 out first for a couple of hours and just had a tootle around on the Honda xl 250.

  20. Took my two eldest grandchildren for their third ski lesson, and did tubing with the two youngest plus my two lads. Then we went for a lovely lunch in Rawtenstall.

In the middle of it all I had a meeting with one of the directors of the slope over a situation that reared its ugly head at 4.40pm on Friday afternoon from UK Sport.
