Been given the day off by work. Priceless seeing my 3yr olds face this morning when he saw the snow:smile: spent the morning making a snowman and snow dog.
Tried and failed to get to work, and only just made it home before the 2 main roads into Newton Abbot were closed
Well I had same, so 2 minutes with a broom and a step ladder had snow removed from Sky dish and signal returned. Happy kids as school is closing early for day pupils to safely travel in daylight and boarders to get outside and make snowmen. Me, freezing you know what's off clearing snow from path, great fun :-(.
I was in London by 7am, determined to get done and get out avoiding the traffic chaos (main road still shut after helicopter crash). As it was it started snowing by 9am, so I got stuck in and was on my way out by 10am. Good job too, cos the idiot drivers who only ever seen to come out in inclement weather were out in force, and it took me twice as long as it normally does in rush hour
I am working - however office closing at 1 I will walk the 5 minutes home and put a DVD on (I did offer to stay) excellent
Glad to see you are keeping HMV goin....... Erm I mean it's wonderful to see that your local Blockbuster can still depend on your suppor......Ah well there's always Sky or Netflix as long as there's a dish or a cable.
You don't have to go out to work these days you know, you can do it from home. I'm just going for a ride on a 1098R, all courtesy of PS3 and WSB, virtually of course. LOL Just like work.
I'm not sure just how inclement the weather would have to be here to have work snowed off. I don't think I've ever seen it. -11°C this morning. There is already snow with more forecast this evening and tomorrow, much to my delight. My new snow tyres on the Alfa are the biz. I can pretty much drive along as if there is no snow at all.
