good on ya dude. I can imagine ya feelings as even after my lil spill and minor injury i felt very green to begin with and am constantly reminded of it every time I get off a bike...
I seen the state of ya in hospital ( and even before the accident!) and id be amazed if it had no effect on ya fun on a bike.
but you are a biker my son and we don't live in fear of what might happen!

 

I do. Maybe "fear" is the wrong word....Every time I get on the bike I'm fully aware I may not return. Always take the time to look wife and kids straight in the eye individually and tell them I love them and how proud I am of them and give them a big hug. Always carry a certain small stone in a pocket, wear a green T shirt and kiss my wedding ring before I set off.
