So what have you done today..?

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by figaro, Mar 17, 2012.

  1. Sat in Neros supping a large black coffee contemplating the foolishness of a Sketchers shoe shop's business model that says you don't need to stock men's shoes bigger than a size 10. Still the coffee is hot and the pan au raisin is lovely. Andy

  2. Today's events reminded me of school

A few of the grandkids school have gotten worms, sadly one of them got it too so the family had to take the tablets as a precaution

They were feeling really embarrassed due to ribbing from the other kids, as they do, so as they stay around mine to give the parents a break from time to time, I decided to ask if I could have one too so it looked like it was a normal thing and they shouldn't be embarrassed.

If by chance an 18ft python comes out of my arse instead of my normal words and so miss the forum for few days, you now know why.

  5. If anyone can point me to where the lambda on the trombone section, located between engine and swingarm connects I'd appreciate it. 1198. Alas I have no macbook at moment as its in for repairs and it has my workshop manual on it. I am stuck with iphone and work pc. Cant remember where it plugs in lol. So taking oppo to ask via work pc. As Boss is not about.

  11. Today I have been to Nottinghamshire.

I'm now back in the office and a client has paid for a flight for me to go to Inverness next week. The parking, just for a day at Manchester airport, is a pi$$ take though. :/

  12. What sort of nastiness have you got? Hope the chemo is kind to you and ruthless on the baddies.

  17. Took delivery of a set of Carbon Leo Vince cans and HealTech Exhaust Servo eliminator for Mrs M's Monster :)

Removed exhaust valve servo motor and cables etc... and fitted ESE.
Removed baffles from new Leo Vince end cans.
Removed OEM exhaust & brackets etc...
Fitted new brackets, link pipes and end cans.
Fired bike up to for leak and sound checking :)

Very happy with the results... Think Mrs M made a good choice on the end cans, quality of them is superb and they were a doddle to fit. Sound bloody great too! Her little Monster now sounds like a proper Ducati :D

Apologies for the poor photo's but the weather has been pants and had to settle for photo's in the car port :/

New cans are half the weight of the OEM ones so nice bit of weight reduction as an added bonus and they have opened the back end up nicely too :)
