I thought that was those two blokes from the hairy bikers show? The hills around mugello are outstanding, full of 180 bends, mountainous drops, very very rewarding to ride
I had a look in here today....While on holiday, check out the local Ducati shop, The wife was over the moon
@scrawnsenior came to where I work to give me a fairing for the dropped 899 at a great price. Real gent and very kind of him to come to me.
Well we've had a nice run out to Vinci (birthplace of Leonardo apparently) and had coffee and icecream Got back to the hotel and I'm now cooling down with a Nastro Azzurro However on the downside I've just heard that one of the lads was knocked off his bike on the way back and has a suspected broken leg A couple of guys have gone to find him and an ambulance has been called. Got no more info than that :/
Fitted my new (old) Giuliari seat to the LC. I remember selling one of these for £20 back in the day. I wish I had kept a few of them, I could have retired early on what you have to pay for them now.
Dropped an assortment of 748R and 996 sps exhaust pipes off for a ceramic bead blast clean having been in the loft for several years. A quick breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee in Sainsburys before heading out to a dedication ceremony in memory of my friend who passed away from bile duct liver cancer last year. The adults with learning difficulty horticulture project she pioneered and championed for many years had turned a small area of their farm into a memorial garden planted up with stuff that she chose before she died and today we planted a tree. A tearful ceremony but fitting tribute to a remarkable woman. Time for a beer and chill before bed. Andy
The lad, who is a very good rider, was hit by an Italian on a BMW GS coming round the bend on the wrong side of the road . The GS was fully loaded up with crash bars and its was the crash bars that hit our guys leg and broke it. The bike isn't too bad apparently but the radiator is completely fecked, meaning it's unriderable.
