  3. Certainly is good news mate, been waiting for what seems to be an age for it to happen. Looks like its going to dry up and be nice here too, Mrs M got some coursework to do this morning and at work this afternoon though unfortunately :( It'll happen soon though :)

You about and free to join us next Saturday for a run out with El T & Bettes @rob lewis? Weathers forecast doesn't look great at the minute but I'm hoping that will improve throughout the week :)

  4. Watched Wonder Woman

  5. Also forgot to mention, I am working on getting these forum stickers sorted out for those that would like them. I was speaking with Dave (Sign Writer) yesterday and he should have a sample and costing for me to go and have a look at early next week.

I'll start a new thread for specifically that once I have the sample and pricing details ;)

  9. Sat at Bristol airport ( 3 hour delay as you ask) waiting to exit for sunnier climes( ruled out Scotland early doors) watching thousands of football fan foreigner types stream into the country. Probabaly best avoid Cardiff and the M4 today if I were you.

  13. 1st real ride out on 1299. Sore bum. Got race seat on, so may put oem on to compare. Knees felt cramped and I'm 5'8". But Ive not ridden properly since Oct when sprag went on 1198. So need to limber up a bit. Get bike fit again. She's flighty compared to 1198 and throttle is way more sensitive. She also spins up faster and I need to get used to engine breaking again as 11 had slipper. Yes, I know I can dial it out, but I used to like engine breaking and now I can have it on or off.
I love the quickshifter and the blipper. The pop on the upshift is addictive. :bomb:Taking it relatively easy as I have to change my riding style a bit. She feels more point n squirt atm than my 1198 which was good on corner speed. So I may have to reduce engine braking further. Cant decide whether its louder than my 11 or not. Noted hot arse. Ok when moving though. Used in Sport mode with defaults. I'll leave Race mode well alone for now. :scream:

  14. Dragged the Exige out of the garage for the first time this year - made a nice change from the comforts of the van :)

Got back from a pootle and modified one of my old car ramp systems to allow me to get a bike on and off the decking and into the kitchen easier.
SFS is coming out of the kitchen, but maybe tomorrow - pub beckons...
